My Story
I am a wife of almost 17 years to my wonderful hubby, Doug. I am a mother to 6 awesome children (and 2 angel babies👼🏻👼🏻). They are 15, 14, 13, 12, 7 and 2! I have been SO very blessed to be able to stay at home with my children since my oldest was 10 months old. I have never once regretted staying at home with all my clan. My husband and I feel that God blessed us with these wonderful children and believe that He will help us make it. Almost 15 years of staying home and we are still surviving! :) My husband is a self-employed farmer and raises showpigs and has a couple thousand acres of crops that he plants. It is the most awesome and the absolute worst job ever I think! LOL It is so nice that he can be home whenever we need him, but it requires him to be gone 7 days a week and work VERY long hours each day and travel as well! So... what made me decide to be a Scentsy consultant?? Our 4 oldest children were in school and I was at home with just the "baby". I had been wanting to do something to make a little extra money, but working out of the home was just never an option with our crazy schedule! A friend of mine (my sponsor I signed up under) started selling Scentsy and was looking for people to have parties for her. I had never heard of Scentsy before and IMMEDIATELY fell in love! I am a total freak when it comes to making my house smell good and to learn of a product that makes your ENTIRE home smell great and there are no wicks or smoke involved.... I'm in!! :) I ended up having a really great party for her and had several people comment on how they wanted more Scentsy stuff. So.... one day I thought, "Hey, if this many people I know are wanting to buy these products, I should just sell it myself!" So that's how I got here and I'm about to celebrate my 6 year anniversary!!!! 🎈🎉🎈🎉 As you can tell, I am just ecstatic about Scentsy... the warmers, the yummy scents, all the other AMAZING products we now carry, and the company!
